News, 2026-05-08

On April 28, 2026, the “Green Motion in Shandong, Haowo Across the Land” ceremony marking the strategic agreement between China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) and Qingdao Shenglong for 200 units, as well as the handover of the first batch of 50 Haowo TX new energy tractor-trailers, was grandly held in Qingdao, Shandong Province. This collaboration marks a milestone in the two parties’ deepening efforts to jointly build a green logistics ecosystem, and further establishes a new benchmark for the large-scale deployment of Sinotruk Howo new energy heavy-duty trucks in port and long-haul transportation scenarios.

As a flagship new energy model developed by Sinotruk, the Haowo TX new energy tractor delivered this time leverages its robust capabilities to provide users with a comprehensive solution covering “power, range, efficiency, and cost.”

♦ Featuring a dual-technology approach combining central drive and electric drive axles, this vehicle delivers powerful performance, effortlessly handling complex road conditions such as heavy-load starts, rough construction sites, and steep inclines. It is ideally suited for high-intensity transport scenarios such as ports, steel mills, and coal and aggregate transportation.

♦ Equipped with high-energy-density lithium iron phosphate batteries, it offers a maximum range exceeding 460 km, meeting the needs of both short-haul and long-haul transportation. It also supports dual-port 600A fast charging and multiple battery-swapping modes, ensuring efficient recharging without interrupting operations and eliminating “range anxiety.”

♦ Retaining the classic Howo TX cab, the vehicle features significantly optimized NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance. Paired with air-suspension seats and a spacious sleeper berth, it ensures a comfortable ride and alleviates fatigue during long-haul trips.

♦ The battery comes with an extended 8-year warranty, and the three-electric system is stable and reliable. Energy costs are cut in half compared to traditional diesel vehicles, truly achieving “carry more, travel faster, and save money.”

The signing of this strategic agreement for 200 units and the delivery of the first 50 vehicles represent the customer’s strong endorsement of the product capabilities of Sinotruk Howo’s new energy heavy-duty trucks, and mark a significant step forward in both parties’ joint efforts to advance the green transformation of the logistics industry. Moving forward, Sinotruk will continue to deepen its commitment to the new energy heavy-duty truck sector, helping more enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency with superior products and comprehensive services, and leading the way in the new era of green logistics!
