Group Leadership Inspects Work Resumption and Production Recovery Efforts and Visits Frontline Employees

From February 21 to 23, Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, conducted research visits to Weichai and Sinotruk to inspect the resumption of work and production during the Spring Festival period, as well as safety production efforts. He extended sincere greetings and New Year blessings to frontline employees. He emphasized the need to anchor efforts on “taking the lead and shouldering major responsibilities,” urging all parties to pursue production, ensure deliveries, and enhance quality and efficiency with full enthusiasm and a pragmatic approach. He called for striving to achieve a strong start in the first quarter to propel high-quality development to new heights in 2026.

 February 21st marked the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. Wang Zhijian first visited Weichai’s high-end heavy-duty engine smart manufacturing plant, where he gained detailed insights into market order organization, process quality control, and lean production practices. He engaged in warm conversations with master technicians and frontline production staff. He remarked, “Everyone has worked tirelessly during the Spring Festival to remain at their posts and ensure order fulfillment.” He expressed hope that everyone would maintain their passion for hard work, uphold the spirit of craftsmanship, and efficiently deliver high-quality products to customers. Seizing the opportunity of being selected for the national flagship smart factory cultivation list, the company should strive to build a globally benchmark engine factory based on a digital-intelligent lean model.

  Subsequently, Wang Zhijian visited the construction site of Weichai Power’s high-end power equipment manufacturing base, the foundry, and the large-bore engine plant. Currently, the global data center power energy sector is experiencing explosive growth. Weichai’s power generation products enjoy robust market orders and strong future demand. He emphasized that Weichai must seize this opportunity, accelerate development, advance the new large-bore high-end engine project with high standards, fully meet global market demand, and strengthen and expand its strategic new business segment in power energy.

 On February 23, Wang Zhijian visited China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to conduct research. He gained detailed insights into global market orders, the transformation of new energy production lines, and supply chain logistics support, while also inspecting new heavy-duty truck products on-site. He emphasized that China National Heavy Duty Truck Group must further increase investment in smart manufacturing, build product technology, quality, cost, and service competitiveness according to world-class standards, ensure a leading advantage in the new energy transformation of commercial vehicles, and establish brand reputation amid rapid growth in the international market. During the current peak production period, he stressed the imperative to rigorously enforce safety protocols, provide thoughtful support for employees, and solidify the foundation for high-quality development.
