Shandong Heavy Industry Group's Green and Intelligent Products Exhibition Held in Hanoi, Vietnam

On July 21, the Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s Green and Intelligent Product Exhibition, themed “Technology Empowering, Equipment for a Better Future,” officially opened in Hanoi, Vietnam. Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Partners from 62 countries around the world witnessed the Group’s full range of green and intelligent high-end equipment solutions for all scenarios. This is also the first time Shandong Heavy Industry has held an international exhibition focusing on new energy and digital intelligence overseas.

The exhibition, held from July 21st to 22nd at the Hanoi Convention and Exhibition Center, showcased a wide range of products including green and intelligent power systems, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, warehousing equipment, and electric energy. These products covered application scenarios such as smart logistics, smart passenger transport, smart mining, smart construction, smart agriculture, and green energy, and featured five dedicated technology zones: pure electric, hydrogen electric, hybrid electric, alternative fuels, and intelligent driving. The exhibition opened to the public on the afternoon of July 22nd.

Power Systems: Diverse Technology Routes Driving a Green Future

Weichai showcased its diverse power technology products, encompassing new energy power, electric energy, hybrid power, and multi-fuel power, providing integrated solutions for all scenarios of green power + distributed energy + intelligent connectivity. For the first time, it exhibited its integrated “source, grid, load, storage, and control” energy solution for mining scenarios. Hande Axle exhibited two electric drive axle products, specifically designed for the Southeast Asian market, suitable for trucks, buses, and other products, meeting various operating conditions. Zhuzhou Gear brought an electric drive axle specially developed for 3.5-ton light trucks, which can be adapted to electric motorcycle drive assemblies in Vietnam, as well as electric drive assemblies and reducer assemblies for mass-produced new energy passenger vehicles.

Commercial Vehicles: Customized Solutions for All Scenarios, Empowering Green Transportation Upgrades

China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) showcased 29 new energy vehicles across six scenarios: port transportation, resource transportation, trunk line transportation, urban construction, camping and off-roading, and urban logistics. These vehicles cover pure electric, range-extended, and hydrogen fuel cell technologies, offering customized solutions for different operating conditions. CNHTC also systematically demonstrated its after-sales service system covering the entire vehicle lifecycle, helping customers improve efficiency and reduce costs. From products to energy to services, CNHTC possesses a complete ecosystem capability to provide customers with one-stop solutions for the implementation of new energy commercial vehicles.

Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck has created a new energy green transportation capacity matrix covering all scenarios and all technical routes, covering the three major routes of pure electric charging, bottom-mounted battery replacement and hybrid, which are suitable for core heavy truck use scenarios in Southeast Asia such as long-distance trunk logistics, port short-haul transportation, engineering construction, urban construction mixing, and mining transportation.

Zhongtong Bus closely follows Vietnam’s policy direction of accelerating the electrification of public transportation, showcasing its pure electric lineup covering scenarios such as urban trunk lines, community micro-circulation, and intercity tourism. It highlights high environmental adaptability, low total life cycle cost, and intelligent safety, creating a practical and reliable Zhongtong solution.

Yaxing Bus’s new energy vehicle models focus on tourism passenger transport and group travel scenarios that have high requirements for range, luggage loading and intelligent safety, as well as business reception, intercity passenger transport and group travel scenarios in high-end markets such as Europe.

Construction Machinery: Intelligent Equipment Matrix, Reshaping a New Paradigm for Green Construction

Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. showcased 11 complete machines and an intelligent cockpit, demonstrating its comprehensive electric matrix of pure electric loaders, pure electric bulldozers, and pure electric excavators, centered around the dual cores of new energy and intelligent technology. The company created an integrated solution of “single-machine intelligence + remote intelligent control,” matching the intelligent upgrade needs of overseas construction sites and showcasing its strength in providing integrated solutions for a full range of green and intelligent construction machinery.

Lovol Heavy Industry showcased six new energy equipment models, comprehensively demonstrating its “integrated new energy complete solution for loading, excavation, and transportation” around green mining and smart construction scenarios. The products cover multiple technology routes, including pure electric and trolley-powered, precisely matching the core needs of green mining and infrastructure construction.

Agricultural Equipment: Integrating Green and Intelligent Technologies, Deeply Rooted in All Scenarios of Modern Agriculture

At this exhibition, Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture showcased 10 core star products, directly addressing real pain points in global agricultural production and providing full-scenario operation solutions covering multiple sub-conditions. This demonstrated the company’s cutting-edge technology and R&D strength in the fields of intelligent and green agricultural machinery. The tractor lineup was particularly impressive, featuring not only a 410-horsepower hybrid heavy-duty tractor suitable for large-scale, high-intensity farmland operations, but also a zero-emission pure electric platform tractor suitable for orchard planting and refined municipal operations. Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture’s AI big data model can achieve a closed-loop process of “monitoring—decision-execution—feedback,” making it the first company in China to establish a complete data chain for smart agriculture.

Smart logistics: AI empowers the warehousing revolution and opens a new era of efficiency and agility

Kion brings a complete set of automated internal logistics solutions, mainly including new energy model product matrix and AI smart library. The AI ​​intelligent library is based on Kion’s self-developed MyMA full-stack software platform, which can realize dynamic reconstruction of six-way shuttles and cargo aisles. The space utilization rate is about 30% higher than that of traditional warehousing systems. The system is equipped with artificial intelligence algorithms, allowing warehousing to shift from passive execution to intelligent decision-making, and respond to various changes quickly.

Power Energy: Full Spectrum of Power Generation Equipment + Smart Microgrids, Unlocking New Global Power Supply Solutions

The Power Energy exhibition area showcases generator sets for various fuels, including diesel, natural gas, and heavy oil, as well as newly developed microgrid solutions. Highlights include the 16M55 diesel generator set, the 12M33 containerized diesel generator set, the 8WH28 heavy oil generator set, the 16M33 containerized natural gas generator set, and the 20M55 natural gas generator set, which can be widely used in data centers, large-scale infrastructure projects, and isolated power supply applications.

At the event, the microgrid solution attracted particular attention. This solution targets the urgent market needs of accelerating global computing infrastructure development, popularizing zero-carbon industrial parks, and upgrading remote mining areas with intelligent systems. It deeply integrates diverse core equipment such as hybrid energy power plants, mobile photovoltaics, energy storage, integrated storage and charging systems, and SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell) power generation systems, providing customers with a low-cost, low-emission, and highly reliable one-stop, implementable, and fully closed-loop power energy solution.
